Everyone now days is being made very aware of the problems that the planet faces in the future if nothing is done to now to stop the damage that has been done and is still happening to the environment.
Pressure is being put on everyone to go green for the sake of the future generations. Children are being taught in schools about green issues and at home and in the work place good incentives are being offered to recycle and reduce waste as much as they can.
Creating power from the sun is a great way to help the planet. Because of the serious problems that we face in the future there is much more research and development being done in all sorts of areas to invent and create solar powered items for use in your home or work environment. There are also much bigger projects going on like development into manufacturing solar powered cars, planes and fridges to name but a few.
In some third world countries where they have no electricity but plenty of sun to run solar powered items and equipment could make a real change to the lives of many. Something like a fridge to store essential food or life saving drugs in would definitely be a benefit. Of course money is a big factor to fund the research and development of these items and it will take time before items are readily available.
In the meantime it is up to everyone to help towards the future.
